Alongi Enterprises, LLC dba Pearl's Pastured Beef, is the marketing company, and will be selling the finished cattle born on premises through private treaty and retail.

 

The goal of our breeding, genetics, and pasture management is to develop animals well suited to thrive in their local environment including hybrid vigor and heat tolerance, in addition to outstanding carcass quality, flavor, and nutrition.

 

The mama cows came to the ranch from JM Cattle Company in Gause, TX who is widely renowned and known for their high quality replacement heifers. They are 44% Brahman, 25% Hereford, and 31% Angus (moreover, F1s of Tiger Stripes bred to Brangus bulls) and were selected for their mothering instincts, heat tolerance, and ease of calving, in addition to fleshing.

 

The mamas are then bred to one of  our registered Hereford bulls that have genetic markers for ribeye area and low birth weight, but high weaning weight.
